Meet our Doula
Rebecca Schlitz became certified as a doula in 2004. Ever since, she has been
working closely with families to assist, educate, and empower mommies and their families. Easing the transitions to motherhood
is her favorite part of being a doula. "She stated, "It is an honor to help a mother feel confident and secure in
her mothering. Being a mother is the highest calling on this earth."
She loves teaching families the many
classes through private sessions as well as classes at BabySightings in Bakersfield, Ca. She also enjoys assisting and empowering
women as a doula to have the best birth experience possible .
She graduated with her Bachelor's Degree in Child, Adolescent
& Family Studies in June 2010 from California State University, Bakersfield.
Rebecca is the mother of 7 children,
ages 2 to 17 years old.
